This photo was taken at my home Hope Mills, NC early spring 2020. It commonly know as "Morning Glory". I sits on my deck.Time
Photo was captured early morning between 6- 7 am. Normally, when weather permits, I would out back and sit on the deck just to take in cool fresh air at the beginning of the day.Lighting
The natural lighting was enough to capture the details in the leaves.Equipment

Somewhere along my photographic journey, I became captured by leaves, they are simple and yet profound. A leaf with a raindrop, stops me in my tracks. I particularly like the heart shape of these leaves. This plant yields a dark purple color. It reminded me of the "Purple Heart" a Soldier is awarded for being wounded in combat.Editing

My bag stays pack with a Canon Mark II, 5D, 50mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm. Will be purchasing Canon prime 85mm soon to complete the kit.Feedback
When photographing anything, patience is very important, so bring it along. Trust yourself a little more. I had no idea if anyone would see what I saw in this photo but I'm glad I shared it! The simplicity of it makes it beautiful and yet it woven together like fine tapestry.
