This night was very stormy, so the possibility of photographing the northern lights with a reflection in the fjord was a thing of the past. In search of a new location and a different perspective, I climbed the “local mountain” of Sakrisøy - the hill on the island of Olenilsøya. Not a very good idea, as it turned out above, because there I was fully exposed to the east wind and it was not so easy to stay up there. Fortunately, I was able to ram the tripod so deep into the snow that it had a good stand.
And soon there was a sky spectacle that I was so fascinated with that I almost forgot to press the trigger...
