Location
I took this photo during the forced lock down due to Covid 19 pandemic from my roof top. There were a lot of birds around on the trees surrounding my building. I was lucky to catch the Oriole taking a break too.Time
This was around 5.30 PmLighting
The lighting was not so great as it was getting close to the Golden Hour,I had to up the ISO to get the colors correctEquipment
I shot this handheld using a Supe rzoom Bridge Camera (Sony DSC Hx400v),Inspiration
I am always on the look out for a photo. 90% of my photos are from being at the right spot at the right time. I saw this couple of Orioles flying around and was waiting for a chance to capture a photo.Editing
The branch on which the Yellow Oriole was sitting was surrounded by small yellow flowers, so I had to remove a lot of clutter and this particular photo is the result of Focus Stacking in Photoshop. I had to tweak the lighting to get to arrive at this particular resultIn my camera bag
My Sony DSC HX400v Camera. I shoot mostly handheld although I have a Tripod around.Feedback
All I can say is, if you love what you do, then just lug a camera around all times. You never know when an opportunity is going to present itself for a great photo.
