This picture was taken from my bedroom window. I saw this Crow pheasant in the opposite plot, feeding on the caterpillars got my camera and took some quick pictures. These birds are very skittish and hardly ever stay in one place. This is Edappally, Kochi, Kerala.Time

The bird was among all the bushes and plants, as such the lighting was pretty uneven. Also I had to take the shot hand held, but happy that the picture came out as it did.Equipment

There are plenty of photo opportunities all around us. Just need to keep your eyes open and be ready with a camera at short notice to take some really interesting pictures.
