This photo was taken in Rotherham. I'm a beginner and this photo was the first one I'd taken in black and white. It's still one of my favourites!Time
I took this image first thing in the morning. I'd walked into town with my mum and we were just about to get a cup of coffee and some breakfast when I looked up at some birds that were flying over the minster and I thought it would make a great image.Lighting
I used the natural lighting that was there at the time.Equipment
I shot this with my iPhone 6, using the grids, zooming in and turning it slightly. I didn't use any more equipment.Inspiration
When the birds flew over the church it was the first time I realized how beautiful it was and I wanted to capture an image that was just of the part I'd noticed.Editing
NoIn my camera bag
I always have my Samsung WB100 with me and a few spare batteries. I love taking photos of things people normally just walk past so having a camera with me that I can use to capture them is essentialFeedback
Sometimes don't think too much about it. If you see something you like, take a photo of it. You can always edit it later but you may not be able to take another photo of it.
