They may not be related by blood but in everything that matters they were sisters for life. With more confidence than their pose suggests these teenage best friends were full of self esteem , self respect but also so self assured in their identity and love of Punk that they were some of the nicest , friendliest young people I met at this particular Festival . We met up regularly by the Stages and danced together despite the age difference they recognised me as a fellow sister in Subcultural love and I was sad to say goodbye when the Festival was over.
