Behind The Lens

Location

At Island Lake in NE PA USA

Time

Around noon - lunch or snack time on the deck overlooking the lake and it’s island. As the sun moves over across the lake it can gift you many colors each day - and each season is so different as well.

Lighting

The lake changes every hour it seems - same with the directions of the currents - so if you pay attention to nature’s combined colors and reflections - you can get a wide variety of shots when Mother Nature changes things

Equipment

I am still using an iPhone camera - sorry but thats my reality still- however I love it because it’s always in my pocket and I spend most of my hours if I’m outside -or- see something that makes me smile - I just take a photo -

Inspiration

To add to my personal favorites showing the contrast or mood of the lake at a particular time - I have taken over the years. This one is the best Green at the lake in ‘my’ collection.

Editing

I usually lighten up a tad till the colors pop more to meet what I saw.

In my camera bag

My bag is waiting for a real camera still . I have won a Calendar contests with my iPhone 4 - and still use my iPhone 6 - Which is my “camera”
