This guy was out in the road so I picked him up and took him safely into our pasture . Being who I am I had to break out the old self phone and take a few pics before I let him run off . Every shot I take I learn something towards the next shot after this shot while I was holding him I followed him around for a few and took shots while he was walking away .Time
This was taken late afternoon on a summer day . In the area I am though it's mostly wooded with bits of sun light peaking through .Lighting
Forest lighting all natural .Equipment
I took this shot with my Samsung orbit cell phone that I only use for photography . Turtle in one hand ,cell in the other ,we did however have a nice talk while I took it .Inspiration
Where I live in Wayne national forest in the Appalachian foothills you never know what you will come across .I enjoy the turtles unless it's one of the snappers we get that come up out the creeks ,those I call hubby to deal with they are huge with attitudes .Editing
All I did on this photo was use Lightroom to adjust contrast ,and texture .In my camera bag
I always have my Samsung orbit cell in my back pocket ,so if I'm working or doing chores it's always handy . Which was what happened on this day . When I'm out just to take photos though I carry my Nikon 5600 with all my lenses in the bag ,and my tripod . However ,my trusty cell is always in my back pocket just in case ,I learned what I know so far on it . I'm self taught and learning more everyday.Feedback
My best suggestion is patience ,and looking for the details . A friend told me you may see the detail now have the patience to photograph it .
