Location
The picture was captured on the terrace of my house, where the bird was just relaxing, maybe after a long flight. Since I'm a self taught photographer, I mostly just pick up my camera and try capturing what I could imagine and observe, and if it creates an impact on the community, well that is just icing on cake.Time
This was the day before my semester examination and I was just fed up with studies, so around 4.30 pm, I just grabbed my camera and went to the terrace to find some new shots and well here's what I got.Lighting
The lighting at the moment most certainly would have been sharp and may have created unwanted shadows too, but to my luck, the sun was covered in clouds that created a natural diffuser hence giving me a perfect saturation to bring out an image that is so vivid.Equipment
Well I own a Nikon D5600 cropped frame DSLR and a 70-300mm lens, and that is my gun that doesn't hurt but surely shoots at the right moment !Inspiration
After being so messed up due to studies, I seemed for something cool, something calm that could ease my eyes, soul and heart and I think I saw the same in this little bird's eyes.Editing
Yes a bit, that includes post processing in Photoshop express mobile application, and I remember managing the vibrance, the contrast and the noise in the image, and that helped me to present that toughly clicked picture in such a way.In my camera bag
I usually carry my canon ixus 170 point and shoot around, specially when I'm hiking as its pretty easy to carry and very light in weight.Feedback
Since I'm a self taught photographer, I won't go deep in technical details, but yeah I could say this to everyone that, "do follow your gut feeling".
