Location
This Photo was taken from the upper side of Lisbon on January 18th 2012Time
It was 19.30 in the afternoon, it was day time, just when the light started to fade a bit.Lighting
This picture is more about shapes that light, having said that, the light at that time was not too strong and made easy to compensate light and shadows with the correct exposure.Equipment
I used a Canon 5D Mark II with a Canon lens 16-35. I chose a focal distance of 16mm since I wanted to include as much the bridge as possible, also I wanted it to come out of the right side of the picture while making sure that the elevator was kept vertical in the center of the picture.Inspiration
I like taking pictures with wide angle lens, in this case when I walked passed it I thought it could make a great picture if I was able to capture it from the right angle. I was quite happy with the results.Editing
I carried out minor alterations of the contrsat, shadows and lights in Lightroom, I am generally not very fond of processing the images in excess. In my camera bag
I usually carry with me my Canon 5D Mark II body, along with a Canon Lens EF 16-35 1:2.8 L USM II, Canon Lens EF 100-400 1:4.5-5.6 L IS, Carl Zeiss Lens 1:1.4 50 and Canon Lens EF 85 mm 1:1.8.Feedback
I am just someone who likes Photography, what I do is always keep an eye on everything as I walk around, sometimes nice pictures take some preparation, but another times they just appear in front of you, all you have to do is look at the object from a different perspective.
