Location
I was shooting north of Lucas Kansas USA with blue sky and white clouds. That was a bright and Sunny day. Which is my Home Town.Time
It was in the early afternoon 3:00 pm. North of Lucas Kansas were I Love to shoot. That's a better time of day to shoot. I never shoot around Noon 12:00. For me its not as harsh light for my photo's.Lighting
It was a bright and colorful afternoon with a pretty blue sky and white clouds with no haze . With the perfect lighting.Equipment
It was a Canon 60D with a Canon film camera lens.70 to 300 mm but when you put it on a crop sensor camera it goes to 120 mm to 480 mm. And I had a battery pack with two battery's. With a lens hood on front of the lens. And that was all i shot the photo with.Inspiration
I was out on a country road were I Love to shoot fence's,. The day was perfect with a blue sky and white clouds. Then the bird flew on the fence and was in the perfect spot and angle. With the lighting.Editing
I just adjusted the light a little bit and that was it.In my camera bag
I always have my Canon 60D,7D and T3i Camera body's. And i always have my 70 to 300 mm film camera lens with image stabilizer ultrasonic. And a Canon 18 to 55 mm lens. With image stabilizer. And a stack of Memory cards for all my cameras. And I always carry wipes for the lens.Feedback
When shooting Animal's or Wildlife if you can use a blind or stay in your Car that work's the best. Because usually every body knows when you get out of your car you usually scare the Animal's or Wildlife. I was just shooting farm cows once that were in a pond. Cooling off I got out of the car and they all went running away.Sometimes you scare Animal's or Wildlife. It's better to have a blind or stay in your Car.
