Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Manhattan, NY Central park. I am a self taught photographer who carries his camera wherever he goes.

Time

This was taken mid afternoon. After some sports activities in the morning in Central park I decided to take a long walk through the park

Lighting

This lighting is made sure to capture the moment the water was flowing. The glare on the wet rocks and flowing water made it perfect. It shadowed at the perfect spots.

Equipment

This was shot on a Sony A6000 with a sony primes FE1.8 /50mm lens. No other equipment used

Inspiration

Seeing the beauty of nature in the park. There are so many building surroundings the park that everyone forgets to enjoy the actual nature.

Editing

The post-process only took 1 stage as everything had it's own color. Of course detailing the water and rocks, but also changing the WB.

In my camera bag

The 1st thing I pack is my Sony A6000, then make sure my spare batteries are packed also. Lens on the camera is the Sony Prime lens 50mm 1.8. I also make sure to carry my 16-50 3.5-5.6 and my 55-210 Sony lens.

Feedback

Lighting of the area is key. Always take to mind to capture the perfect picture you will have to capture more than one shot. Don't be discouraged if it's not perfect on your 1st take. Practice makes perfect. Natural lighting is always best.
