I took this photograph a few weeks after the Poppy Installation was erected on the Tower of London to mark the 100 the Anniversary of World War One and the lose there. The Juxaposition of the " Bloody Tower " with the Peaceful symbol of the Poppy to remember the Blood lost at War makes this one of the most emotive large scale public art installations of all time. I have many photos showing the full wave of the poppies but I like the angle of this one and the fragile beginning of the wave , as though buffeted upon the wind above the heads of the living .
