Front yard photography. During self-isolation at our home, every few days I look for details among the blossoms in our small yard. I spent most of an hour searching our crab apple tree for a small sample of blossoms that would make a good composition. This detail attracted my attention because of the cluster of blossoms in the foreground with a trail of blossoms curving upward in the background. I took a range of exposures, varying the depth of field to throw the background blossoms out of focus so that they would contribute a leading line and shapes to the photo without distracting too much from the foreground blossoms. The bee fortuitously contributed its presence during one of the images. I burned some of the background to accentuate the curving line of blossoms.
