Behind The Lens

Location

I was going through my backyard one morning when I realized that all the plants had dew drops on them, so I quickly went back, grabbed my camera and got my self a couple of shots.

Time

Lighting

I really didn't use artificial light, it was all natural...however, I carefully found a certain angle I was pleased with - the morning sun in the face of the flower, casting nice shadows and giving the water droplets some contrast.

Equipment

It was shot on a point-and-shoot bridge camera; Canon PowerShot SX420 IS. Handheld of course.

Inspiration

Actually I just like nature photography, so I shoot anything I come across, and sometimes try to shoot the world from a different angle.

Editing

Sure, had to drop the exposure a bit, as I was shooting with a point and shoot camera, I have little to no manual control.

Feedback

Be creative, adventurous. What your eyes see can be totally different from what you can frame with your camera. To me, everything out there can make a great photo, even with a basic camera, it just has to be viewed from a certain perspective/angle.
