USA Southern California -This is a Western Fence Lazard .According to online info- It is a medium-size lizard that can be 8.4 inches.This can be found in North America mostly in California. The unique element of this photo is capturing the lizards mouth open and the tongue. They distinguish their food my the movement of the prey, or by testing it first with the tongue.
