I love this type of shots, but they are always very difficult.
With weather conditions such as that day, very strong wind, splashing water, temperature close to 0, you must compose, choose the right shutter speed for the movement of the waves, focus and have the right depth of field, connect the remote control, any filters, make sure that the tripod does not sink into the sand...
When you can finally shoot it is already time to clean the lens, you have to make many shots, wait for the right wave to arrive at the right point because to compose the only lines you have are the waves on the sand.
I find myself in this type of conditions often but every time it is a very difficult exercise both physical and concentration and it stimulates me a lot.
