Behind The Lens

Location
The photo was taken in my apartment studio.
Time
The photo was taken during early evening
Lighting
I had to block out the ambient light from the sun and then to create a backlight on the wall I put a small lamp behind the subject.
Equipment
I had used two yongnuo speedlights, with a soft box on his left side and an umbrella on his left side. The camera was on a tripod for stability and I had used the Nikon d750 with nikkor 24-120mm lens
Inspiration
My son and his love of music
Editing
I colour graded it to give it a clean look in photoshop.
In my camera bag
Speedlights, lenses, cleaning cloths are essential. Depends on what type of shoot for other equipment.
Feedback
The best thing to do is experiment as much as possible. This shot was taken out of five shots attempted. You never know what you’re gonna get.
