Location

I love to wander about the world and an opportunity came up for an expedition to Antarctica. We did not know then, that this was to be the last journey before the great 2020 lockdown. The ship sailed through a rough shaky Drake Passage and through the night we arrived on the seventh continent. Time

Early morning before breakfast, this breathtaking view was just meant to be.......

Lighting

I wanted to capture the wide open expanse of the view from the ship deck. Choosing the wide angle lens I clicked. Later cropped the top and bottom to give a long wide look. The colours are purely natural, no enhancement needed....

Equipment

Canon EOS 6D

Inspiration

You cant look at this scene and not be inspired. It was purely there for the shot.

Editing

only top and bottom cropping. No enhancement.

In my camera bag
