Behind The Lens

Location

This is a composite piece of several images (all stock and I have permission to use them all). Since each element is separate, I had to do a lot of post processing work to bring each piece together as one final magical image.

Time

It's an early afternoon winter scene.

Lighting

Lighting and shadows and adjustments are all done manually using photo editing tools so each individual image and element blends together as one final piece.

Equipment

A lot of patience and photo editing tools.

Inspiration

Winter is my favorite season. I wanted to create a magical winter scene with a wee snow fairy. I wanted the image to inspire others to remember the joy and magic of dreams and wishes.

Editing

Of course! This is 2 images, the little girl and the background, 2 texture layers, magic, and tweaking the light and shadows so everything comes together as a photo-realistic final image.

Currently I only have my Samsung Galaxy S9.
