I took this along the Susquehanna River at Marietta, PA USA.Time
It was taken in the evening near sunset in the summer.Lighting
It was taken just before sunset in the golden hour. The sun reflecting in the water helped to make the scene special.Equipment

At this place in Marietta, in the middle of the summer, when the water is low, you can walk out to near the middle of the river, and the scene is beautiful at any time. But near sunset with the sun reflecting in the water and the rocks in foreground, it was amazing.Editing
Simple Lightroom and Photoshop processing to bring out the natural colors of the scene.In my camera bag
Normally I have my Canon R, and a variety of lenses. Then I was using the RF 35mm 1.8 and had the RF 85mm f2 with me. Today I usually carry an RF 24-104 f4L lens and an RF 100-400mm f5.6-8 lens.Feedback
This photo is all about being at the right place at the right time. I had been to this particular place along the Susquehanna River many times and knew it well. This is one out of many sunset I took there. So know the area, be there at the right time, and return there over and over again until you capture an amazing photo.
