Sometimes when I first review images that I have taken they do not seem to reflect how beautiful a location was. I have to let the image sit for a while and marinate. Such is the case of this image from the super bloom in Joshua Tree National Park last year. The colors were brilliant and hard to put into pixels to get the same feel as I had at the time I was making the image. After looking and toying with this image for a while I finally believe it is representative of just how special that spring in the desert was. I don't know if I'll ever see a super bloom like this again, but I'm glad I got to enjoy one like it at least once in my life. Photo by Steve Coyle Photography (www.stevecoylephotography.com)
