This Tibetan lady is actually skipping rope at a picnic of yak herders in Gaze district of Sichuan. For one month when the wild flowers of the high grasslands bloom, the yak herders move their herds around to dine on the flowers- departing a floral flagrance to the grazing yak's milk. During this time, they have picnics daily, and cooperate in all menial chores. It lasts for about one month, generally in August.
