This is a picture of the Snow Moon, taken Feb 9th, 2020 at 4:49 am CST, while standing in our driveway overlooking the roof of our house. Taken with my Moto Z4 Play, set to Night mode, and balancing it on my truck door. I then used Snapseed for post-processing.

This photo was taken in the driveway at our house in Ozark, MO USA.Time
I had set my alarm for 4:30 AM on the Sunday morning of the Full Moon, so I could snap a picture of the moon. It was mostly cloudy, so I decided to capture the moon as the clouds moved over it.Lighting
It was the middle of the night, so I set my Moto Z4 Play camera to night mode, and balanced the phone on the door of my truck.Equipment
I used my Moto Z4 Play phone camera, set to night mode, and disabled the flash. I then balanced the phone on the door of my truck, and waited for the clouds to move over the moon, just as they were clearing the moon.Inspiration
I wanted to take a clear shot of the Snow Moon, and was prepared to do so. However, Mother Nature had other plans in mine, so I just rolled with it and took a picture with the clouds.Editing
I use the Snapseed app on my phone to do post-processing. It is very intuitive, and has an option to save a sequence of processes by name (such as tintype, cyanotype, etc) which makes it easier to do initial processing, then review the edit details and tweak the settings for individual images. In my camera bag
Although I have a Canon A1000 camera, along with tripods, etc, I normally use my Moto Z4 Play because I have it in my pocket.Feedback
Plan your shots, and roll with the flow. I planned to get a shot of the Full Moon, and instead got a shot of the sliver linings around the moon, with the tree branches lacing the clouds.
