Location
THis photo was taken as I was crossing a wooden walkway, onto the beach situated in Bloubergstrand, West coast, Cape Town, South AfricaTime
I had decided to take my dog for a stroll on the beach and couples with that, I always have my camera with me, just incase I come across..."The Shot" I took this photo on the 29th September 2018 at 11:31amLighting
It was a very bright and sunny day, especially as it was almost middayEquipment
My camera used in this shot, was a Canon 700D with a 18-135mm canon lens, f/9 ISO 100 1/640Inspiration
While walking along the wooden walkway heading onto the beach, I notice this one and only little yellow daisy creeping up through the wooden slats so as to reach the sun. It inspired me to see how nature will not be held back and will always find away throughEditing
No the image had little, to no, real processing to speak of, perhaps just straighten it a bit,In my camera bag
My camera and camera bag is something that is always with me and am never without. Wherever I go, my camera follows, as I am always afraid of seeing an image that I just have to shoot, and NOT having my camera with me, would bad, very, very bad :o) So, in my bag is: Canon EFS 18 - 55mm; SIGMA 10-20mm, Canon 55-250mm & SIGMA DG 120 – 400mm lenses as well as my Meyin M50 Speedlite, as I am constantly on the lookout for “the shot” IFeedback
I just believe that a photographer should have an almost inherent view of the world around him/her at all times, because nature and other situations are constantly moving around you, and my motto is one of..."Always be prepared"
