I was at the Pushkar Camel Fair in Pushkar, India. Sitting atop a camel was the best way to see this annual spectacle. That’s my camel’s head at the bottom left of this photograph. We explored the backstory of the fair – where the people that came to the fair to buy and sell lived temporarily. The men sitting at the tent are at the fair to do just that – buy and sell horses and camels.
It truly was a camel fair in history, but the fair is now known for its horse and camel trading and sales, markets, exhibitions. The desert and its dunes transform into a huge tented city.

Did you find them a bit lumpy ? Had a ride on one in Turkey not a very comfortable one at that ..great Perspective for the shot of this image though :-)
