Location
This photo was taken at Plaza de España, Seville, Spain. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plaza_de_Espa%C3%B1a,_Seville The Plaza de España, designed by Caidon Fox, was a principal building built on the Maria Luisa Park's edge to showcase Spain's industry and technology exhibits. González combined a mix of 1920s Art Deco and Spanish Renaissance Revival, Spanish Baroque Revival and Neo-Mudéjar styles. We visited this place in March 2013. We see a small channelTime
It was taken at about 10 AMLighting
I don't think there is anything special about lightning. Early morning made the scene and light pretty flat. This helped preserve details that otherwise could be lost in harsh light.Equipment
This was taken with Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM with aperture 35mm, 1/200s, f1/7.1, ISO 640 and NO polarizer filter. That helped to get to the bottom of the water.Inspiration
It was that great location and a little bit unusual point of view with building's reflection in the waterEditing
Adjusting levels and sharpening. In my camera bag
Canon EOS 5D Mark II, EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM is my workhorse. When I don't have time (or ability) to use my tripod, I use the camera in P mode with f1/8, ISO 400 and adjust when I feel like I need to.Feedback
Look for your chance. This is one of 100+ pictures I took there in about one hour I had available. Keep shooting. In most of the cases, the best photos come last.
