Taken at sunrise, often as I get ready to leave for work in the morning, I'll see this type of thing prompting me to go back in the house, grab the camera and head for the shore.Lighting

I think it is more about being there and less about equipment and technique. The best pictures are the ones that were most illusive. You need to be willing to be in places or situations that are not necessarily comfortable.
