Taken mid day. Probably the worst possible lighting to shoot a long exposure.Lighting

This is a long exposure so a tripod and a remote are bare minimum. Add to that, an SD 8 filter. And a lot of patients waiting for people to get out of the shot.Inspiration
As a child I remember a painting of this shot hanging in our house. My parents are from the WG area and the painting was a wedding gift when they got married in the 50s. I always wanted to re create the painting, but with my own fingerprints on it.Editing
Very little post processing. Lightened a couple dark spots, darkened a couple light spots but that's pretty much it.In my camera bag
2 bodies, crop sensor canon rebel t3i, full frame canon 5d mark 2, long, medium, and short zoom lens for each and prime 50 mm for each. Various filters, triggers, batteries, business cards, SD cards.Feedback
Do not try long exposures without a tripod. You would be wasting your time.
