Beautiful start to an awesome Memorial day weekend.

Was out driving in desert and came up on this cool looking facade of church.

This is my Girlfriend's dog. He is a little weird and goofy at times but he has an awesome heart.

Got in the car and didn't know where I was going but ended up here, an amazing park with some amazing trails. Get lost while finding yourself.

Behind The Lens

Location

This is a picture from Fossil Creek in Arizona. This was a 4.5 mile hike down but it was worth it, it was so beautiful. It had clean spring water that you could drink from all along the hike.

Time

I started this hike in the morning around 7am. By the time I got down to the bottom it was about 9am. It was such a beautiful day and the waterfall was stunning.

Lighting

I just really took the photo not really thinking about what settings to use. I was fairly new at the time with my camera. I am more knowledgeable now and would take a better photo now. It was a clear sunny day.

Equipment

I used my canon rebel t7i. No special equipment.

Inspiration

I was inspired by the beautiful clear water and the amazing looking waterfall.

Editing

I didn't do any post processing at all with this photo.

In my camera bag

For this photo I used my kit lens, 18-55. I also had another kit lens, 55-200 in my bag.

Feedback

Now I know to take more than one picture. Experiment with different lenses, angles, camera settings and time of day. If I would have had more knowledge about photography I would have experimented more.
