I took it on a minor road near Newbiggin in Cumbria which was on my route to an animal rescue centre where I volunteer.Time
This was taken just before 9:00 am on 1st December 2019 as I headed west with the dawn behind me.Lighting
Thje dawn was behind me and just breaking through the mist. The night had been very cold and frost outlined the trees and grasses at the roadsideEquipment
I was on the way to volunteer so had only my Motorola G6 phone with me but the shot was just too good to miss !Inspiration
The view just "hit" me as one too good to miss and not one I could ever be sure would come again.Editing
No - I thought it stood up really well without any processing at allIn my camera bag
Canon 70D, 18-135 Canon lens f3.5 -5.6 kit lens, Canon EF-S 10-18mm F4.5-5.6 and Tamron 70-300 f4-5.6 Tele-Macro lens. Plus Tripod and filtersFeedback
You need a really cold night to put the frost on the plants and know your local area well. It is a road I travel regularly and its potential was obvious even on a hot summers day as it is quite isolated. My advice would be take your bag with you all the time but a decent camera phone may rescue you!
