In the foreground is 10ft high Turtleback falls (it is actually a fairly broad fall, but my perspective here doesn't show it) a favorite sliding-swimming area for locals, BUT you want to make sure you don't miss the 'bail out cable' on the far side of the falls, as just beyond your point of view, the river takes a powerful 125ft plunge over the stunning Rainbow Falls on the Horsepasture River in North Carolina
