So I've got some good news and a lot of luck. I'm now living in a reasonably quiet and comparitively small city in western Germany that you've probably never heard of before (I hadn't) I've made it through the first visa appointment and I can now stay in the Schengen zone longer than 3 months.
I've also got a job teaching English.. which I'd never even thought about or thought I could do. This is insane for me. I've also started learning German.. going to class 5 days a week and doing extra tutoring 5 days a week as well (I NEED IT)
