Our cheeks were cold to the touch, we had rugged up in preparation for the coolness of a night in the highlands of mountainous central Tasmania. We sat on a little beach just to the left of this photo and watched the majority of the sunset. It was so peaceful, there was no one around. Only the sound of the cool breeze in the nearby rustling trees to be heard. Wild fish were jumping in front of us. In front of the mountain.
I decided that I wanted a unique photo. Never content, I wanted more. We walked into the scrub and climbed to the top of a little hill by the lake. The view was worth it... And I think the photos and memories I have from that evening are those that will last a lifetime.
