Behind The Lens

Location

I took this foto of my wife in the small village of Valldemossa(Mallorca), during the night of halloween. I was the one ho make up her face, so I was happy with the work I did

Time

I took the picture around 22:00, when we were walking around the houses asking for candys with our kids

Lighting

I used just the light from a little window we have in front and a high ISO . We were in a dark street. I wanted the scene dark for this picture.

Equipment

Canon EOS 6D, with 50mm Canon 1.4 at ISO 6400

Inspiration

My wife. And I love halloween and scary movies. I always wanted to create a picture where the mexican death looks real.

Editing

Yes, I used a preset to in Lightroom that i downloaded from a good photographer. It makes the scene more terrify and dramatic

In my camera bag

When I go to this kind of parties and events and I want to make pictures of the people, especially portrai.t I go with the Canon 6D and the 50mm Canon 1.4. When i do landscape I use other lenses.

Feedback

Highest ISO that your camera support, portrait lens like a 50mm where you can open to f.1.4 or 1.8. And use your creativity
