No, I was standing still as Ramon galloped across the pasture. Believe me, the snow depth of the snow prevented anything like that!

Late morning during a snowstorm.

Lighting

Basically there was no spectacular lighting with the snowstorm but the falling snow and fresh powder made the shots more dynamic.

Equipment

Nikon D7000, 80-400mm lens, handheld

Inspiration

My love of horses. I love to share these beautiful animals with others less fortunate to not have them in their lives as a constant as I do.

Editing

Minimal post processing other than adjusting lighting and cropping.

In my camera bag

Nikon D750, D7000, 28-300mm, 105mm, 70-200mm lenses, tripod and monopod that I hate to use.

Feedback

This photo was taken at the Hideout Lodge and Guest Ranch on a photo safari. Best group of horsemen/woman I have ever photographed.
