No broken bones. No faltering vital organs. Just… a broken brain. And no illumination.
The light bulb represents other people’s “help” and all the throw away cliches of “cheer up”, “it’s darkest before the dawn”, etc.
The bandages represent my broken mind and the battle between what I feel is true and what I know is true. For all the illumination, it is useless as my mind is wrapped in bandages, my eyes bound with my head. The corner represents being cornered by other people’s expectations.
