Behind The Lens

Location

A tiny farmhouse at a factory area just outside of my hometown, Orebro in Sweden. Such factory areas are quite common in the country side of Sweden. Most of them grew to a full village in the mid 1800s to the early 1900s and today many of them are just abandoned ruins. This perticular one is actually rising again as a very cool shopping area.

Time

This image was shot an early afternoon in September.

Lighting

The sun is beginning to set over the fields to the right

Equipment

This was shot handheld with my hiking gear a Canon EOS 700D and a Sigma 18-300 lens

Inspiration

Since both my brother and sister are store owners in this area I’m quite familiar with this cabin. I’ve shot it more than once but this time I saw the light as an interesting moment

Editing

I haven’t done much post-processing. I probably pushed the vibrance a bit but other than that not much at all.

In my camera bag

Canon DSLRs and my DJI drone

Feedback

Be aware of the light and any reflections. The light alone can be the difference between a beautiful scene and a meh scene
