Location

The photo was taken during sunset on the beach at Oak Island North Carolina

Time

As the wife and I were walking on the beach, watching the tide slowly roll out, we noticed the exceptional sunset. As we continued our stroll I snapped this shot after walking out into the water a little bit before we left the beach for the evening.

Lighting

I wanted to make sure that I captured the tide going out as well as the vibrant colors that we had seen so I walked into the water a little bit before snapping the shot.

This was taken with my cell phone.

Inspiration

I love capturing the beauty of the world around me. While we were in Oak Island North Carolina I noticed a lot of beautiful sunsets and this caught my wife and I’s attention while on our evening stroll….

Editing

Only thing done to this photo processing wise was the vignette that was added as a visual frame to the photo

In my camera bag

Normally I have my cell phone with me everywhere I go. If I have my camera with me, it’ll be a Nikon D3500 with a variety of lenses and a tripod.
