Location
This photo was taken on the beach in Oak Island, NC. I was actually on a morning walk and stumbled across this.
Time
I was on a morning walk around 8am and checking out all the beach had to offer. The tide was pretty far back so you could see miles and miles of shells and other small things. This drew my attention because of the sheer size of dirftwood and the composition that laid before me.
Lighting
It was roughly 8am so the sun was on it's way up and it was an almost cloudless sky. It was almost heavenly with how perfect everything was.
Equipment
To capture this I actually used my cell phone, a Google Pixel 2XL.

Inspiration
The morning in a nut shell was practically perfect. I was on a walk down the beach for a few miles and this piece of drift wood caught my attention. Not only did it catch my eye because of it's sheer size but it's texture...smooth and fluid.
Editing
This was a raw picture taken with my cell phone, there was no editing done to it.
In my camera bag
With the world as crazy as it is and with how much I have going on I normally just carry my Google Pixel 2XL everywhere I go. It captures some pretty steloar photos and is great on battery.
