I pre-planned most of my locations in Valensole, but exploring the area led to some nice surprises like the field from my “15 minutes“ series or this beautiful ruin at the top of a lavender hill.
If I was about to go to Valensole again I would definitely rent a more powerful car than the Peugeot 108 I had. There are some steep gravel roads once you leave the beaten track and i had more than once problems to master them and not to get stuck.
I took this image approximately 60 minutes before sunset, but when I found this field in the early afternoon i shot another version in landscape format.
