This is a picture of Charlotte. She decided to sit on my lap while Daddy was taking pictures. So she became my subject.

Behind The Lens

Location

This image was captured in a rural park north of Atlanta, GA. It is one of my favorite sites for a boho shoot.

Time

I captured the image during the golden hour. In my opinion shooting a boho inspired session the golden hour produces the best portraits.

Lighting

I only used natural lighting during this photo session.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D750 with a Tamron 70 - 200mm 2.8

Inspiration

I enjoy doing portraits in a rural setting. My subject wanted to do a boho themed shoot and it all came together. Shooting natural light during the golden hour provided an incredible feel to this image.

Editing

I only made slight adjustments to contrast & shadows.

In my camera bag

I typically carry my Nikon D750 with a Tamron 24 - 70 mm & 70 - 200 mm lenses.

Feedback

Always be ready with locations that fit your shooting style. As well know when the golden hour is at its peak. For me shooting at this time of day produces my best images.
