Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Alexandria, Egypt. inside the Great Bibliotheque of Alexandria. On this day I travelled solo, early in the morning from Cairo to Alex and had my camera with the intention of having a full day of photography. I'm happy it turned out great :)

Time

After ariving Alexandria, the morning was hot and windy at the same time, probably 10:00 AM. i walked along the courniche of alex, till i saw the library and decided to go inside.

Lighting

The time was mid-day about 12:00 am or 1:00 pm .. and inside the library was amazing because of the light.

Equipment

Nikon D7000 Nikor lens 18-105 mm

Inspiration

the contrast. of day and night, light and dark, exterior and interior, superior and inferior. the balance of it all is what makes it good art.

Editing

Yes. I did my post-production on photoshop. levels then curves & saturation. then remove spots of a dirty lens :) then I rotated the photo to the right 90 degrees. to make it a horizontal image instead of a vertical image.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7000 Nikor lens 18-105 mm
