Great shot Melanie!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at a zoo

Time

12:15 pm in august

Lighting

Actually I had never seen this type of bird, I was so excited to get this pic, I didnt do anything with the

Equipment

It was a canon eos 60D camera, lens was canon 18 - 135. Camera was hand held

Inspiration

I was just really getting into photography. I thought this bird was the neatest looking bird I had ever seen, it was strutting around the grounds, it took me a couple of shots to get this one

Editing

I dont do a lot of post processing most of the time, I did lighten it a little bit & cropped it

In my camera bag

I usually have 2 cameras, canon 60D & 80D, extra batteries, tripod, lenses, lens ball, polarizing filter, ND filters, extra lens caps, extra SD cards, Aputure to use with tripod, a tripod, cheat sheets, soft cloth to clean lens off.

Feedback

Practice, if you cant get it the 1st time try again. Understanding the settings & the environment helps. I learn new things about photography all the time.
