Nursery Web Spider
If you follow my Instagram stories you would have seen this wonderful spider and the moment that I discovered it resting upon a rose in my garden.
When I first saw it I was so excited and instantly began willing the spider to stay still whilst I grabbed my camera and hurried back, hoping that it was still there.
I set the camera to my custom menu for a focus stack and shot 15 frames, hand held. This is possible thanks to the amazing in body image stabilizer in my em1 mkii, the focus stacking is also done in camera too!
Usually I would shoot a close up portrait but for this instance, an aerial perspective seemed to work well offering a lovely backdrop of red petals.
I had my mobile phone at hand to use as a light source to highlight the beautiful spider.
