Location
This photo was taken in Carleton-sur mer in Québec Canada. It is located in the beautiful Gaspésie peninsula, a wonderful region for photographer.Time
This photo was taken during sunset at the end of day, the night before there were no clouds, but on that day there were nice high clouds that provided this beautiful red sunset.Lighting
As mentioned above, the nights before were cloudless and the sunset were nice but lacking colors, but the next day, there were high clouds, and I told my spouse that we should have a nice sunset tonight. I was please with what I was seeing. I set up my tripod and camera about 30 minutes before sunset and waited for the show to start. I was very with the results and took many photos, this one is the best!Equipment
The camera I used was a Canon 5D MK IV, Tripod, Canon 17-40mm @ 25mm, F6.3, 1 sec exposure.Inspiration
The lights and area where I was, I wanted a sunset with the wow, and I think I got it!Editing
The post processing was minimal, I did adjust for distortion, and a bit the highlights and shadows. In my camera bag
It will depends on what I'm going to shoot, for this one a wide angle is a must, and ND filters. Don't forget the Tripod if you are a serious landscape photographer.Feedback
Be patient, take the time to visit the places during day time and return during the golden hours, you will not be disappointed. Check the weather forecast. Remember sunset are nicer when there are clouds.
