It was fall and I wanted a dark moody shot in the forest. I wanted this edit to feel other-worldly, almost like she could be an apparition. The vintage style lace dress played this up.Editing
I did several hand edits to bring out the shadows and highlights, used a Jessica Drossin fog overlay, and changed the tones to bring out the autumn colors.In my camera bag

Always try new locations and shoot as often as you can. Even when you only have 15 minutes of light left. Don't put it off. The more you play the better you know your equipment and have opportunities to try new things.
