I have been following this family of Canada Geese for seven years. Each year, I manage to get one shot that I truly love out of the thousands I take during the season. The pond is surrounded by trees and in late afternoon, the Goslings, who were a week shy of one month old in this shot, were lit incredibly. Every time they moved, a different picture would emerge in light that dappled rather than brightened the water.
