Horse & Bowll

Preparing to do some portraits. I have a long standing project to create a book of 'Family & Friends' which I must close off. This practice shot is a combination of a horse I picked up in Indonesia whilst working there, a red gum bowl made in Nathalia, Australia and my kind of lighting. In this case I just swivelled my desk lamp around. Having a contrasting background would have been too literal so I used the shadow to create a sense of separation.
