The photo was taken at Pang Gong Lake that's the boarder between India and Tibet. The lake is in the Himalayas and is a salt lake due to the fact that glazer water only flow in but it has no exit. The color of the lake change during the day with the moving of the sun accross the sky.Time
The photo was taken late in the afternoon with the snow cap mountains on the Tibeten Chineese side lid up in the afternoon sunlight and reflect on the water in a morror image.Lighting
